PrimeTestLab started in 2021 as an Android app QA testing service. We put real apps in front of real people on real devices, the kind of hands-on quality testing developers need before they ship, and we ran it for teams around the world.

That work taught us how hard the testing phase really is: finding reliable testers, keeping them active, and proving genuine engagement. So we built a managed pool of real people testing on their own Android devices and kept it running for every project we took on.

Then November 2023 changed the stakes. Google began requiring new personal developer accounts to run a closed test with 12 opted-in testers for 14 continuous days. Because we already ran a managed tester pool, we launched closed testing support right away, and it quickly became our flagship. Today the count stands at 7,400+ apps across 120+ countries, and every test still runs the same way: real humans, real devices, zero shortcuts.
