App Overview

The app is a French local-events app. It builds a nearby Agenda from OpenAgenda, DATAtourisme markets, and a partner-pilot organizer feed, then lets people open a listing, set a day-before reminder with Intéressé (Interested), get directions with Itinéraire, share with Partager, and add it to a calendar with Agenda. Paramètres (Settings) covers city or GPS, search radius, how many days to show, category filters, and Alerte J+7. A separate Organisateurs space exists for publishing, still marked as a partner pilot.

Product Perspective

The day-grouped agenda, Agenda spécial des Marchés, event pages, Itinéraire, Partager, and Rappel OK on a later event are easy to follow, and Paramètres makes radius, sources, the day window, and categories simple to change. The day map is a real gap: Carte du jour opens, but the map stays a blank beige field, so nobody can see markers or distances there. A banner sitting on the last agenda row, landscape hiding the list, and a raw Exception: line on organizer login are the other things that need attention before a wider public push.

Standard Checks

The launcher tile is a branded calendar with an A+ mark and the shortened app name, not a default Android icon.

On Choix des catégories, the title sits under the clock and the status icons. See M-07.

On Contact, Envoyer sits on the system navigation bar. See M-08.

On organizer Se connecter and on Demande d'accès organisateur, the eye control shows the password and then hides it. After the password is visible, the control reads Masquer le mot de passe (Hide the password).

Critical / Core-Feature Issues

C-01 Day map opens as a blank beige Google Map with no event markers

ID: C-01

Title: Day map opens as a blank beige Google Map with no event markers

Impact: People who tap the map shortcut cannot see where today's events are, or check distances against the chosen radius.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Open the app on the Agenda tab with events listed for today.
  2. On today's header, tap the map control (Afficher cette journée sur la carte / Show this day on the map).
  3. Wait several seconds, tap the map, and use the + zoom control.
  4. Go back and open the same map again.

Expected vs Actual: A map of the selected area with event markers, and distances that match the list. The screen title is Carte du 27/08/2026, but the map stays a blank beige field with only the Google logo and + / −. No tiles, markers, or radius. Waiting, tapping the map, using zoom, and opening the map a second time did not fill it in. The agenda itself still had events with distances for that day.

Minor Issues

M-02 Organizer login shows a raw Exception line for a wrong email or password

ID: M-02

Title: Organizer login shows a raw Exception line for a wrong email or password

Impact: An organizer who mistypes their login sees developer wording instead of a plain French error.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Open the app.
  2. From Agenda, tap Organisateurs.
  3. Tap Continuer vers l'espace organisateur (Continue to the organizer space).
  4. Tap Se connecter.
  5. Enter email name@ and a wrong password.
  6. Tap Se connecter.

Expected vs Actual: A short message such as Email ou mot de passe incorrect (Email or password incorrect), without technical prefixes. Red text under the password field reads Exception: Email ou mot de passe incorrect.

M-03 Organizer access form keeps Champ requis on fields that already have text

ID: M-03

Title: Organizer access form keeps Champ requis on fields that already have text

Impact: An organizer filling the free-access form cannot tell what is still wrong, because filled name, email, and password still say required.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Open the app.
  2. Open Organisateurs and continue to the organizer space.
  3. Open Local sans abonnement.
  4. Tap Envoyer la demande with empty fields (Champ requis appears).
  5. Enter a structure name, a contact name, email name@, and a short password.
  6. Look at the messages under those fields.

Expected vs Actual: Champ requis (Required field) clears once a field has text. Invalid email and a too-short password get their own messages (the form already says Minimum 10 caractères). Nom de la structure still shows Champ requis after Association Locale is entered. Email name@ and the filled password also stay on Champ requis, with no invalid-email or length message.

M-04 Home banner covers the last visible event on the Agenda list

ID: M-04

Title: Home banner covers the last visible event on the Agenda list

Impact: The last event in view loses its date and venue under the banner, so that listing is hard to read or tap.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Open the app.
  2. Open the Agenda tab with several events for today.
  3. Look at the bottom of the list without scrolling past the banner.

Expected vs Actual: The promotional banner sits below the event rows, or the list stops above it so every visible event is fully readable. The banner sits on top of the last visible event. In our capture, Capturer l'évolution des paysages de Paris is cut off and its date and venue are hidden.

M-06 Postal-code field accepts letters

ID: M-06

Title: Postal-code field accepts letters

Impact: A French code postal can be stored as letters, so the search area can be wrong without the user seeing a format error.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Open the app.
  2. Open Paramètres.
  3. Tap Code postal.
  4. Enter abcde.
  5. Leave the field so the keyboard closes.

Expected vs Actual: Only five digits are accepted, or letters are rejected with a short message. abcde stays in Code postal after the field is left, with no format error.

M-07 Category picker title sits under the status bar and Valider covers the last row

ID: M-07

Title: Category picker title sits under the status bar and Valider covers the last row

Impact: The screen title is hard to read, and the last category on first view is partly hidden under Valider, so it is easy to miss Nature & Plein air until you scroll.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Open the app.
  2. Open Paramètres.
  3. Tap Choisir les catégories.
  4. Look at the top of the screen and at the bottom row without scrolling.

Expected vs Actual: Choix des catégories sits fully below the status bar, and every category plus its checkbox is clear of the Valider button. The title runs under the clock and status icons. Patrimoine & Visites is cut off and its checkbox is sliced by Valider. Nature & Plein air is only fully visible after scrolling.

M-08 Contact Envoyer button sits on the system navigation bar

ID: M-08

Title: Contact Envoyer button sits on the system navigation bar

Impact: Send is harder to tap and the bottom of the button is easy to miss next to the system nav keys.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Open the app.
  2. Open Paramètres.
  3. Tap Contact.
  4. Look at Envoyer at the bottom of the form.

Expected vs Actual: Envoyer sits fully above the system navigation bar. The Envoyer pill sits on the system nav, and the lower edge is clipped. The button still sent empty-field and invalid-email messages when tapped, so send works, but the control is hard to hit.

M-09 In landscape the Agenda list is hidden behind the home banner

ID: M-09

Title: In landscape the Agenda list is hidden behind the home banner

Impact: Turning the phone sideways hides today's events behind a large banner, so the main list is unusable in that orientation.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Open the app.
  2. Open the Agenda tab in portrait with events listed.
  3. Turn the phone to landscape.
  4. Scroll the page.

Expected vs Actual: The event list stays readable, with the banner below or beside it. Landscape keeps the title, category line, and Marchés chip, then fills the rest of the screen with the banner. Today's event rows are gone. Scrolling the page still leaves the banner in that space; the event rows never come into view.

Suggestions

S-01 - Aide de l'agenda (first page). The last sentence is cut at plus la recherche peut prendre. Let that card scroll, or shorten the copy so the line about search taking a little time is fully visible above Suivant.

S-02 - Organisateurs and market details. Restore missing apostrophes and accents in the French copy we actually saw: J ai déjà un compte validé par l administrateur, Un administrateur devra l activer, de 07h00 a 13h00, and Marche du secteur.

S-03 - Event details - Intéressé. When a reminder is refused, say when it becomes available (the help text already mentions the day before). Rappel impossible / Pas de rappel sur les évènements trop proches does not tell the user how far ahead they need to be.

Summary

Nearby events, a reminder, the day map, city and radius, local markets, and organizer sign-in were the goals for this session. Agenda, Agenda spécial des Marchés, event pages, Itinéraire, Partager, and Rappel OK on a later event all worked, Paramètres let us change radius, day window, categories, and Alerte J+7, and Contact rejected empty fields and a broken email. Carte du jour stayed a blank beige field with no markers. The agenda and reminders are usable for closed testing, but the blank day map and the layout clips on the agenda, categories, Contact, and landscape should be fixed before a wider release.
